• Mixing: Mix 10 ml (equivalent to one scoop) of the milk powder with 20 ml of low-mineral content bottled water (or cooled boiled water) at approximately 70°C. Stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Allow to cool to a lukewarm temperature (approx. 38°C / body temperature) before feeding.
• Feeding Frequency: Newborn puppies require frequent feedings, including throughout the night.

  • Discard any unused reconstituted milk after 24 hours (even if refrigerated).
  • Around 3-4 weeks of age, when puppies’ teeth begin to emerge, they can start to damage the teats. At this point, you can begin to offer milk in a shallow bowl to encourage lapping, and gradually introduce a suitable “starter” dry puppy food (e.g., Royal Canin Mother & Baby Dog Starter Mousse or kibble moistened with water).
